The connection between environmental issues and human health has long been recognized. However, recent years have seen greater awareness of this issue, leading to the outline of an action framework known as “One Health.”
Within this scope, one of the most interesting and researched relationships is that between biodiversity and human health.
The term biodiversity strictly refers to the number, variety, and variability of living organisms, and how they vary across
different contexts over time. This concept is not limited merely to the variety of species in genetic and biological terms; in its deepest sense, it also encompasses the relationships among living beings. It is precisely through these elationships that organisms influence one another and establish a balance.
During the following webinar, we will address aspects of the health and biodiversity link different alongside authoritative speakers, exploring them through various fields of expertise.
