In the 5 previous editions of the International Conference on FoodOmics, many experts in omics sciences coming from different areas of the world were invited to give their contribution to expand knowledge on the complex relationships connecting the food, from raw materials to processing, the diet, the human being and the human health.
The 6th edition of the Conference, which will be held in Cesena (Italy) from 14 to 16 October 2020, will face new topics in the attempt to promote intimate closer cooperation between the world of academia/research institutions and the world of agro-food industry. The new topics addressed by FoodOmics 2020 will be: FoodOmics for food safety; FoodOmics for the formulation of new food; FoodOmics to understand the impact of environmental exposure; FoodOmics for animal nutrition.
